Our Santa Barbara Uni is from the Channel Islands located off the coast of Santa Barbara.
Each sea urchin is hand picked by local divers and offloaded onto our very own trucks at the docks. The live sea urchin is then transported to our facility in Oxnard, CA where it is processed and packed into various trays depending on our customers needs.
Our premium grade uni is set apart by its bright yellow/orange colored roe and its firmness in texture.
As with all of our products, we do not pack them until the order is received in order to ensure the highest possible quality of the product.
*Keep a consistent tempreture. If product is not cold to the touch upon receipt, do not consume. Store in the refrigerator. Never store in the freezer. Uni will stay fresh for 4 days upon receipt. Wrap the tray in saran wrap to keep moist.
